City of Manchester to Adopt Updated Building Codes
The City of Manchester contracts with St. Louis County for code enforcement and inspections. St. Louis County has adopted updated building codes and Manchester is required to adopt the same building codes in accordance with St. Louis County. The link below lists the building code changes:

In addition to the link provided above, the building codes will be available for viewing at Manchester City Hall for a period of 90 days, after which the Board of Aldermen will consider an ordinance formerly adopting the updated building codes.
Code Enforcement
Code enforcement oversees and administers enforcement of the municipal code of ordinances as it relates to conditions of property and improvements, conducts inspections to ensure compliance with applicable property maintenance codes and coordinates enforcement with other city departments and outside agencies to ensure code compliance within the city.
