Manchester Arts

Home of the Brave

Join us for the opening reception of Home of the Brave! This Friday, Oct 12th from 6-9 pm at the Manchester Parks, Recreation & Arts Building Schroeder Park - 359 Old Meramec Station Rd.

Home of the Brave features a variety of artwork which celebrates veterans including interactive storytelling panels, photographs, and quilts made by local quilting groups Bits & Pieces and Piece Mill Quilters, who sew for the Greater St. Louis Honor Flights.

This work will be on display through the end of the year in the Manchester Courtroom Gallery and the Manchester Parks, Recreation, & Arts.

Are you carving up something special this year? Send a picture of your pumpkin to arts@manchestermo.gov for a chance to win our Pumpkin Carving Contest. This competition is open to all Manchester residents and businesses - no entry fees or age restrictions!

Winners will be posted on Halloween Day on our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ManchesterParksRecArts
