2019 FOCUS Photo Exhibit!

FOCUS is a FREE, open-theme competition and exhibition open to all residents of the greater St. Louis metro area, ages 5 and up. 

Each year we display over 300 images from the region!

All Ages & Skill Levels Welcome!

Cash prizes totaling over $1700 will be awarded to 1st-3rd place winning photographers, as well as Best of Show Award. Additional ribbons will be given to three Honorable Mentions in each category.

Entry Drop Off: February 25th from 12 - 6 pm & February 26th from 12 - 8 pm in the Manchester Parks Office.

Opening Reception: Friday, March 8th from 6 - 8 pm

Exhibit Hours: Saturday and Sunday (3/9 & 10) from 12 - 3 pm as well as March 11th - 15th from 8 am to 4 pm. Then the winning photographs will move to the Manchester Court Room Gallery at the Police Building.

Current Exhibition: Cityscapes & Landscapes by local artist William Andrea. An incredible collection of urban and remote landscapes is on display through the end of February at the Manchester Parks, Recreation, & Arts Building. Stop by M-F from 8 am - 4:30 pm to view this breathtaking collection!

Current Exhibition: Flowers + Sky by local artist Lindsay Higa. A beautiful collection of paintings exploring abstract and expressive flora, landscapes, and figures. This work is on display from January 28th to February 28th in the Manchester Courtroom Gallery within the Manchester Police Building at 200 Highlands Blvd Dr., Manchester, MO 63011. The gallery is open daily from 9 am - 7 pm.

2019 Community Band Concert Season

Join us again this summer for three unique concerts presented by the Manchester Community Band. All concerts are held in Schroeder Park at the Corey J. Donnelly Amphitheater and are free and open to the public.

Sunday, June 16th at 6:30 pm - Great Westerns, Great Music! 

The seventh season of summer concerts by the Manchester Community Band begins with a program that features the memorable music from some of our greatest westerns!

Sunday, July 14th at 6:30 pm - Apollo 11 & Beyond

Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing provides the inspiration for the second performance of the 2019 Summer Concert Series by the Manchester Community Band.

Sunday, August 11th at 6:00 pm - Marches Around the World

The third concert of the summer series by the Manchester Community Band features the great marches composed and performed in countries around the globe.

Manchester Sidewalk Chalk Contest

Join us for our 3rd annual sidewalk chalk contest in Schroeder Park! No preregistration required.

The cost is $5 per 5x5 square and comes with a complimentary pack of sidewalk chalk or pastels (your choice).
