Public Safety Messages - Sign up with Nixle
The City of Manchester has partnered with Nixle to implement its Community Notification System to alert residents in real-time for localized emergency situations and relevant community advisories.
Register
As a resident, there are two simple ways to register:
- Text manchestermo to 888777 from your mobile phone
- Sign up using the Nixle widget
Once registered, residents will receive a confirmation text to their mobile device. Residents may also customize their alert settings by going to Nixle and creating a User Profile. Find more information here.
Notify Me
Notify Me' is a subscription-based service offered by the City of Manchester at no charge to the public. The service provides up-to-date information on news and topics of interest to you. Receive an alert whenever content of interest is updated or news letters are published. Alerts are delivered to your email address. Selected items also offer wireless alerts delivered to you wireless device.
