I am writing to compliment the great work being done by Stephanie Hardesty, Kathryn Schien, and the rest of the team in the Parks, Recreation, and Arts department. I am so impressed by their creativity and their commitment to deliver fun and creative programming during the coronavirus pandemic. They are showing innovation and a real commitment to community through their ongoing work. My family and I are so grateful for the effort. Keep up the good work! ~ Kristy, Manchester Resident
Tim, Jim and Jake: Nice arrest on those kids burglarizing the school. That was good old fashion police work! Keep it up! ~ Chief Scott Will
Todd Welker, Jake Steen, Mike Poitras, Jack Smith, and Jeff Kramer got their exercise by walking every municipal sidewalk in the city completing a sidewalk survey to collect data on trip hazards and other defects. It was a big undertaking but they were up for the challenge and did an efficient job. The data was collected on iPad’s entered into a GIS mapping system that has given us data to efficiently plan sidewalk repair and reconstruction projects for the next several years. We can thank them for going the extra mile.
