Deer Carcass Removal

Deer Carcass Removal Post

Deer Carcass Removal - Resident Guidelines

As deer carcasses are a health, safety, and aesthetic concern, the City of Manchester continues to work directly with a service provider to remove and dispose of dead deer from residential properties as well as city owned properties/roadways. Deer carcasses on roadways maintained by MoDOT or St. Louis County Department of Transportation are typically picked up by those departments. The City provided service does not collect deer carcasses located on commercial property.

Reporting a deer carcass can be done 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by simply calling the Police Department Records Clerk at 636-227-1410 EXT 102. The City must be given verbal permission from the property owner or trustee for the service provider to enter the property to remove the deer. Typically, removal is done within 24 hours. Late day calls on Friday or weekend calls may not be picked up until Monday.

To report a dead deer, call 636-227-1410 EXT 102.
