Chadwick - Brookvale Terrace Relief Trunk Sewer Project
Construction of a trunk storm sewer to relieve chronic flooding in a portion of the Brookvale Terrace neighborhood continues to be on schedule. This project is being funded by the City of Manchester and the St. Louis Metropolitan Sewer District. Construction is expected to be completed in June of 2020.
2020 Proposition S Street Improvements Update
A $3.1 million contract for concrete street improvements has been awarded to J.M. Marschuetz Construction Company. This work is underway and will continue at locations throughout the city for the remainder of the construction season. Additionally, plans are currently being prepared for the bidding of asphalt street improvements to be constructed later this summer. Howard George Drive Bridge Rehabilitation Project
The Howard George Drive bridge is scheduled to be closed this summer for structural repairs and complete deck replacement on the substandard rated bridge over Grand Glaize Creek. The contract has been awarded but the project start is on hold due to coronavirus concerns affecting the project schedule. Check back here for the most updated information regarding this project.
