    Dates: November 1st - 30th Drop-off locations: Manchester Parks Office, Manchester City Hall, & Manchester Justice Center Accepted items: Non-perishable and canned food items The City of Manchester is taking part in a friendly competition between 18 cities. The challenge? Which local municipality can collect the most canned goods to donate to our local food banks! The city that collects the most food items from November 1st through 30th will be crowned the 2020 Feed the Masses Food Drive Champion and will win a trophy to display! Make some donations towards a great cause and help your city WIN! Let's go Team Manchester!

  2. Flags of Valor Display - Veterans Day

    November 11, 2020, All Day @ Margaret Stoecker Park

    The Manchester Flags of Valor collection will be displayed on Veterans Day, November 11th. Manchester has a proud collection of Flags of Valor. Part of the 15th anniversary display entitled “America’s Heartland Remembers,” these 26 American flags were some of the more than 7000 flying in remembrance on Art Hill in 2016, each flag an individualized tribute to a military hero who lost their life in the “War on Terror.” Also part of this important collection, an American flag that flew in the center circle of the 2016 Art Hill installation in honor of those heroes that lost their lives to PTSD, a recognition that the casualties of war occur on and off the battlefield. The Flags of Valor are displayed at the Veterans Memorial today.
