  2. All-Levels Flow Yoga

    This 60-minute yoga class will help both new and experienced students develop strength, balance and flexibility through the connection of movement and breath and with an emphasis on proper alignment. Classes typically begin with breath work to center and calm the body and mind, then transition to specific stretches designed to warm the muscles for a flowing series of traditional asanas, or poses, and ending with a relaxing shavasana to kick start your day. Please bring a mat.   3. Staying Home Alone Class - Cancelled

    (Cancelled) This class, held here at the Parks Office in Schroeder Park, is designed for parents and children to attend together. Led by a St Louis Children's Hospital instructor, the class is design to help parents and children determine the child's readiness to stay home alone and prepare them for this experience. This class will help prepare the parent(s), child and family for the times when the child will be home alone. Parents and children attend together to ensure that both parent and child can determine a child's readiness - physically, mentally, socially and emotionally - to stay at home alone. Families will engage in workshop style activities to address issues that arise when preparing for this experience. A family workbook, family emergency cards, family fire escape plan, parent checklist for assessing readiness and first-aid kit are included.   1. Online Store Opens for the Discounted Backyard Composting Kit

    March 2, 2020 - April 25, 2020 @ City's Website/Schroeder Park

    Backyard composting kits are being offered to city of Manchester residents at this time to promote Municipal Waste Reduction. They are available at a discounted price thanks to the St. Louis County Department of Public Health awarding grant funding to the City. You can purchase the composter through the online store, and the pick up date will be on the morning of Saturday, April 25, 2020, as part of the City’s annual Arbor Day celebration in Schroeder Park.
