When: Tuesday, February 7th from 6:00-7:30pm
Where: Schroeder Park Building – Room C
Description: Learn all about what a career in sports can look like and how you can get there. We will be joined by a panel of local sports professionals spanning various jobs and careers, including sports marketing, operations, broadcasting, sports law, coaching, and more. This event will be designed for high school students but is open to anyone interested in pursuing a career in sports. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask the panelists questions at the end of the seminar.
Registration: Admission is free but pre-registration will be required.
Structure: The first hour will be a moderated discussion with the panelists, with pre-determined questions regarding how the panelists got involved in sports, their education, tips for a successful career in sports, struggles of working in sports, etc. The last half hour will be meet and greet style where attendees can converse with the panelists and individually ask more specific questions.
