2. P.L.A.Y. Scholarship Application

   Programs and Lessons for All Youth Scholarship The Manchester Parks, Recreation, & Arts Department has developed a Scholarship program to assist families that are facing economic challenges, to allow their children (ages 17 and under) to use the Manchester facilities and programs such as: Summer Camp, Swimming Lessons, and more. Scholarships are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Scholarship is open to all area residents, priority will be given to Manchester residents Scholarships may only cover up to 50% of a program fee Please fill out the application and allow 7-10 working days for processing. When a decision is made, we will contact you by email or phone at the contact provided. To be considered, applications must be received a minimum of 7 days prior to the beginning of a program. If you are interested in making a donation to this program to help make it possible for all youth to participate in the programs offered or would like more information, please contact the Manchester Park Office at 636-391-6326 x400 or bjones@manchestermo.gov

26. Program Guidelines

    Applicant must attach a copy of last year’s Federal Form 1040 or 1040A tax return or current proof of Free and Reduced Lunch benefits letter. Below are the Adjusted Gross Income limits to qualify for this program.

    3	$40,700
    4	$49,100
    5	$57,500
    6	$65,900
    7	$74,300
    8	$82,700
    Each additional member	+ $8,400

    Household means a group of people who may or may not be related, but who are living as one economic group. Students who are temporarily away at school should be counted as members of the household.
